The Conflict
Last Friday, I went to a skin specialist early in the morning. One of my friend that I only got to know about her for 2 days recommended me the doctor . She asked me to go on early because about 7a.m. there was already a lot of people lined up there. When I arrived, there really a lot of people waiting there and I get into the line as other people do. There are two Indian ladies lined up in front of me and one of them turned back and we started on chatting. The Indian lady was very friendly. We talked about everything since there was nothing to do. Due to our conversation, I knew the Indian lady was 26 years old and was working in CIMB Bank. Untill the nurse came and gave each of us a number at 8a.m. than only we stopped our chat.
Since it was still early, I started find a place nearby for breakfast. I went to the back of the clinic and found a mamak store there. I find a place and sit down. After ordered the food, I was looking around but suddenly a loud sound frighten me up. I turned my head to the source and saw a Malay guy and a Malay woman were arguing on something than slowly lead to a quarrel. I’m not sure what were they argued for. Than the guy step forward and tried to slap on the woman which happened unexpected and it really gave me a shock. But fortunately, the woman ward of that and didn’t got slap. Everyone sitting there were staring on them. May be the guy awared of that so he quickly get on to his motorbike and leave there but the woman keep scolding him with non stop.
However, this scene had inspired me that since different races that only know each other for few hours can communicated with harmonious some more we were using the third language which is still tough for me, then why don’t the same race try to understand and talk to each other in a proper way to avoid conflict that may lead the happened of violence.
