Laughter

Laughter is the best medicine. We’ve heard the expression time and again. Laughter can work wonders when one if feeling down and is all stressed up. There are many benefits of laughter ranging from the strengthening the immune system to reducing food cravings, and to decreasing one’s threshold for pain. Some even say that laughter can prolong our lifespan and for decades, researchers have the opinion and have explored how laughter or humor can help patients relieve stress and heal more quickly.

Some researchers have taken it one step further, researching on how laughter can help certain professionals cope with their difficult jobs, and how laughter can increase communication in the workplace and in the classroom. Everyone loves someone who can make them laugh, therefore the more you share your sense of humor, the more friends you'll more likely have.

Laughter can also bring the balance we need to get through turbulences in life. When we have problems, instead of moping and brooding over it, we should laugh about it. Also, we should learn to laugh with others when we are being laughed at. This way, we'll feel more carefree.

There are so many benefits of laughter. For instance, it can dissolve tension, stress, anxiety, irritation, anger, grief and depression. Like crying, laughter lowers inhibitions allowing the release of pent-up emotions. A person without a sense of humor is like a car without shock absorbers.
Therefore laugh and add spice to life! Laughter is good for the body and soul.
